Change ... as good as a holiday?

In the past I have ordered posts according to what was most relevant for my thesis research. This worked really well when I was writing on a month by month basis because each month I would start at the top and work through the links, however in the latter half of last year the writing process didn’t occur on a regular basis. For this reason I have decided, this year, to order the links each month alphabetically by category. This is not a perfect process as many (most!) articles fall within more than one category and given the number of links, I try not to duplicate them if possible. In the long term it will be easier for me as I will be able to find the material in much the same order from month to month and its also faster to prepare the monthly post. The category names I use are fairly stable now so as the months progress you will easily pick up on the new order.

Not quite sure it equates to a holiday but it’s early days yet...

OCA Research Review weblog

I have just started a new weblog designed to complement the aggregation of my online research. At OCA Research Review weblog you will find some general discussion relating to the material I have been looking at most recently. My first post (now available) will relate to a book I devoured earlier this week called Music, Culture and Society.

Now seems like a great time to branch out from aggregating to analysing and beyond. I hope you will make yourself known in the comments section and explore some of these issues with me. This website will continue to list the online articles I have been reading each month.
